Tantabiddi/ Ningaloo West Side Coast:
Northerly winds hampered boaters for most of this week. Colin and his mates hired the 6 metre boat this week and reported fishing out off Tantabiddi was sharky, with the men in grey suits claim their share of ocean tax.
Still good numbers of squid being caught out off Tantabiddi over weedy patches
Murion Islands:
Crew on our hire boats reported far more successful fishing up and around the Murion Islands. Mackeral and Tuna were caught on Halco lures in about 20 metre mark.
Waraoora Station:
With northerly winds and little swell meant Stevens Camp at Waroora Station proved the optimal place to be for fishing, surfing and diving the Ningaloo Coast. On the fishing front Mackeral were being caught out the back behind the reef. Our 4.2m hire dinghies would have been perfect for the job. Surfing Stevens was fun with the sand banks forming a clean right hander
